Business Continuity

Whatever your data consists of, it is very valuable to each of us and if it were no longer available to you it would cause significant problems in the best case scenario. For others it could mean that a business is no longer able to function. We offer a consultative approach to work through your data storage needs, going as far as to help you structure it so it can be accessed efficiently and in line with your business model. Most importantly we will work with you to develop a solution that will ensure that your data is always safe. If an unthinkable disaster happens and there is hardware failure, a theft, a fire or a flood which results in your data no longer being accessible, we can ensure that we restore your data from managed backups to a new device meaning you can resume business as normal within a few short hours. We call these services 'Disaster Recovery' and 'Business Continuity' which can also extend to new, preconfigured employee computers and any other technology you rely on. Should you find yourself in a position where you have experienced hardware failure, cannot access your information and have no backup solution in place, we also offer data recovery services to restore as much data as possible.

Whilst we are very successful in this field, it is a very reactive solution and we cannot initially guarantee complete success, for this reason we advise developing a disaster recovery plan to ensure your data remains safe.

Planning for disaster: Whilst data loss is disastrous to everyone, when it affects businesses it impacts their customers, the employees and their families not to mention the business owners alike. 70 percent of companies go out of business after a major data loss (Source, UK DTI). Chubb concluded that Over 70% of businesses involved in a major fire either never reopen, or subsequently fail within 3 years of fire. Axa discovered that over 80% of businesses affected by a major incident either never re-open or close within 18 months. We all truly hope that the worst never happens, if it ever does, the businesses that succeed are those that have a robust plan for disaster. It is also those families that plan for disaster that can ensure their precious memories remain safe. We can work with you to develop a plan that makes sure your data is safe. If you are a business we can develop that plan to ensure that all the technology you rely on is also available to you and configured for your needs. What’s more is that we can have this in place within a short few hours after a disaster and we can develop backup office locations with you and help manage your communications. You may want to take complete ownership of the plan once it's devised but we are here to help in whatever capacity best suits your needs.
